Sports Massage
Not just for athletes or fitness fanatics, sports massage helps reduce imbalances and dysfunction in soft tissue (muscles, tendons, ligaments), commonly caused by strenuous repetitive physical activity and trauma, that could lead to injury. Following movement and postural assessments, a range of techniques will be used to release tension held in the muscles, aiding recovery and injury rehabilitation.
Deep Tissue & Relaxation Massage
Massage focusing on relaxing the body and mind through slow, deep strokes that release built up stress and tension within the muscles. Pressure is determined by the clients preference.
Pre & Post-Natal Massage
While preparing for your newborn’s arrival, don’t forget to look after yourself too! Pregnancy massage is an amazing opportunity to create space for your mind and soul to relax, as well as providing relief from common discomforts such as lower back pain, sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome and joint pain/swelling.
Pregnancy massage can be performed after your 1st trimester right up until full term.
Myofascial Cupping
A modified version of the ancient Eastern cupping technique, using plastic cups to form a vacuum on the skin. The suction draws underlying tissues and fluid to the surface of the skin. Benefits include; reduced knots and adhesions, increased blood flow, improved range of movement at joints and improved recovery. This treatment is incorporated into sports or deep tissue massage. Please note, this method of myofascial release can leave temporary marks on the skin where the blood has been drawn to the surface.
Kinesiology Taping
An elastic therapeutic tape applied to the skin along muscles, ligaments and tendons which creates a decompression affect, allowing for increased range of movement, reducing pain and providing additional support. A treatment integrated into a massage appointment or can be booked as a stand alone treatment.

- £10 to purchase a roll of Rocktape (can be applied by the therapist in each session as required or taken home and applied yourself).
